Disciplined Agile Coach

Experience:  This DA Course is very different from what you've experienced with the other Discipline Agile curriculum. It is largely interactive, hands-on, problem solving, coaching, oil in action given a case study. This means that your ability to be online real time is vital. It's not possible to record incredibly dynamic, and it's always based on the participants and their interaction.

Prerequisites:  You must be a current DASSM, with three years of agile coaching, and you must attend the full 2-day course. 

What to expect:  The course will enable better understanding of coaching teams, applying/optimizing DA across the enterprise, and insights into cultural change.  It will also strengthen cross-team and enterprise collaboration and insights into leveraging proven practices to enable the acceleration of process improvement.

Phases of the course:  The course has two phases, pre-workshop learning/self-study and the 2-day in-class portion.

The pre-workshop (asynchronous) learning will focus on the Disciplined Agile Coach, working toward the end goals of DA coaching, supporting change at the individual, team, and groups of teams, coaching teams within the context of their organization, and finally coaching teams in their transformation journey.

The real-time workshop (synchronous) will continue with the DA mindset, working with your current governance/PMO team, identifying challenges and strengths, determining improvement opportunities, working with the improvement backlog, creating a coaching playbook, implementing guided continuous improvement (GCI), visualizing and removing impediments, determining the root cause of issues, supporting diversity, guiding teams through the change process, overcoming barriers, working with external teams – GCI across disparate teams, and helping your organization develop needed capacity.
